Our History
Rout Milner Fitchett is the successor of a series of legal firms set up at the start of the last century. By 1946 Mr. Rout and Mr. Milner had both died, and Ivan Fitchett moved to Nelson and took over the practice. In 1970 he was joined by his son John, and in the following 50-plus years there were a series of partners down to the present where John’s son Rob joins Craig Morice and Luke Acland in leading the firm as partners.
